MRJ’s future is up to him. He clearly has the talent to carve out a career as a permanent best-23 player. He’s 22yo. The ball is in his court. Get rock hard fit and stay that way in off-seasons and a quality 200+ game career awaits.

Come back overweight and unfit and career will be cooked within 18-months.

Don’t blame the club if MRJ doesn’t make it. He usually plays forward pocket or as sub because he can’t run beyond quarter time as he’s cooked.
Got 9 possesions in the last quarter.

No way were going to trade him, but he really needs to look inside himself and figure some things out.
I would definitely look at any offers. He's a liability at either end at the moment. If 2 first rounders were on the table...

Just had a brief chat with Alger and Tom brown. Saw at the beach (recovery)
Alger out for a couple and not sure about brown but was limping heavily. Also Lalor out for the year but that’s expected. Terrible news.
Hopefully Taj in next week. And we tread water with gibcus and smilie (especially after Lalor)

I bet you'd love that. Weirdos who love to see the team lose so they can say 'i told you so'.

No one cares what you said, mate.
You ok mate? Have a few last night did we?
I’d love for us to win this week.
How on earth does an opinion get twisted around to thinking I want us to lose?
I don’t. I just don’t think we will.
You obviously cared enough to comment.
I’ll give you top marks for excellent grammar in that state that you must have been in though. Quite impressive.
Dead serious too.

In: Hotton, Short, Trezise
Out: Balta (curfew), Lalor (injured), Ralphsmith

We don’t have a lot of players left in the twos to bring up unfortunately.
If Alger is out then that means Smith or Green have to play.

Not competative. We won the last, were massively competitive in the first. The second and third quarters were no good. But for half a game we were more than competitive. So, again, i’m shocked AFL journos know **** all about what actually happened.
Agree to disagree. We see things differently and that’s cool. I look forward to being where you are when it comes to so much positivity on the 12 goal beltings.

Sooooo, we didn’t win the last quarter and weren’t competitive in the first?? Ok

I think they were both ankles, but Brown's seemed more minor so hopefully can get up to play.

I’m talking about being competitive for a game. CB I love the tigs as much as you, I’m simply not as positive about where we are at currently, system, competitiveness etc. We won the last against a team with the cue in the rack, come on man! Why you want to argue with others not aligned is odd. It’s all good, we will get there. Just no need to chip away at those not sharing your views

How do you come to that conclusion?
Because you said “I said at the bye we wouldn’t win another game. We won’t.”
That sounds like you’re happy to be proven correct so far just so you can then say “See I told you so.”

Garbage.
It says nothing of the sort.
I’d love for us to pump the druggos this week.
I don’t think we will.
It’s not that deep.

Balta out and id be tempted to bring kozi in replace him up forward.

Wont be a match winner, but at least an older head for the forward line and is more likely to clunk a couple.

Can't wait to see Taj in.

Outs: Lalor (inj), Ralphsmith (inj), Balta (curfew),
Ins: Hotton (23 disposals, 1 goal, 7 tackles), Short (27 disposals, 14 marks), Koschitzke (14 disposals, 1 goal), started back but went forward after Bauer got injured.

*Notable mentions to Tresize (22 disposals, 8 marks), Smith (24 disposals, 8 marks), and Green (12 disposals, 3 goals, 6 marks), but dont think we'll make more than 3 changes. If we do, reckon the 4th change will be Green for Alger

After watching the VFL, these are my changes.
Balta OUT (curfew), Kozi IN - when moved forward he competed, so he is our Lynch replacement
Lalor OUT, Hotton IN
Ralphsmith OUT, Trezise IN
Alger OUT (inj), Green IN

Jayden Short, Kaleb Smith & Tyler Young pretty much the only other availables.

I’d spell Balta from the 1s until the curfew is done. It hasn’t worked and we aren’t helping by playing him when available. Time for a change

Gibcus didn't look happy out there. He looked like he was more scared than anything, and I don't blame him. I would play him VFL till the end of the season, no point risking him at this late stage.

Smith looked wobbly and played on one leg, doubting he would come in.

So you could have said instead “I don’t think we will win another game. Not an emphatic “We won’t”. There are ways to express an opinion without the ‘see I told you so’ attitude.
I don’t think we’ll beat Essendon either but I’m not going to say we won’t.

I’m not sure what I can say other than I hope to hell we win this week and win a few more.
I would have thought any statement made on here is an opinion that shouldn’t be taken so literally.

in a ideal world I would release him for trade ( especially if 2 1st were the talk).
But it won't happen, only just started the long term contract.
And club wont let him walk.

will be a interesting clash with ess this week.
Two teams who love to fumble, drop marks, miss shots, wayward kicking, terrible decision making.
And are elite at getting injured...
Still it's Essendon and it's always good to beat those campaigners

Kosi in for Balta. He competed well today and does his bit every week. Played well when moved forward. Kicked a goal, took a couple of big grabs. Plus there's no one else.....

Young deserves a crack too. He's been rock solid for a month. Getting on his bike up ground quite often too. Might come in for Blight, although I feel like he deserves one more game to settle in.

Just to confirm how shit Geelong is.
Couldn’t beat an undermanned seniors team by 80 or more and their reserves are hot garbage and lost to us.
Man, what a crap club.

We’ve won 3, should of won 5 for the year so far. Cats were always gonna smoke us. The fact we put in some credible effort needs to be recognized.
When we have posters calling premiership heroes weak, a disgrace to the jumper, already calling for a coach sacking (they’re clearly no better than Carlton supporters or forget the years 1980 to 2000 in particular), it’s just a nonsense. We know the path we’re on. We’re gonna be shithouse next year as well. Not saying you’re any of the above, but we need some perspective on things. And i’m just not gonna tolerate the above to be honest.
It’s not all sunshine and lollipops. I get it. I really do. I lost my lolly last week as well. But, it’s where the list is at and club. Until we get a heap of these lads north of 50 games and 3 pre seasons, we hot more of the same coming.
