100% it's based off pure jealousy. They have sat in shit for 4 years and got no improvement during that time and they see us grabbing 8 top kids and think nah Richmond will be shit as we have been for 4 more years.
The fact they are even comparing us to them is laughable and should tell them just how far off they are.

Just watched the game finally. Hard to drop anyone after that effort. We should have been 8 goals up at 3/4 time and won it easy.

Some real positives, Sims no.1, great signs. MacAuliffe won everything that came his way and used it really well. Again Smith did a really good job on the dangerous smalls, never left their sides.

Maybe Trainor can have a week off for Balta and could play on the wing, why not if Traior can do it why not Balta.
Clarke could come in for MacIntosh and be the sub. Can play a variety of roles.

Under rated comment. Smith has been very good defensively. No glaring mistakes this week. He's going well.

Balta was ordinary in the VFL. If him coming in means Gray gets dropped I'll be pissed.

Hard for him to find form without the consistency. But as I said it's his own doing.

The way Gray is playing, there isn't a huge gap between the two currently. Need to keep pumping games into him.

Feel like we have a selection squeeze this week which a great position to be in - especially with our younger guys like Trainer, Grey, Sims, Banks, Campbell, HRS - all playing well and locking down their spots. We have 7-8 players in the ressies banging down the door. When Gibcus, Lalor, Hotton, Smillie, Armstrong are ready to go later in the year there will be some extra tough decisions made.

Prior to Round 1 this year we were struggling to name a side that had 22 players that could at least compete. We now have 3 wins, respectable losses against top sides, games into the kids, ressies looking like the form team and playing a great brand of footy, a selection squeeze and we're still looking at getting 2 top 5 picks in the draft. The Club is in good shape

Yep, but I think as long as we have 8 to 9 kids in the side each week and it's explained to all their turn will come then it will be fine if a heap have to play in the VFL.

I wouldn't make too many changes, maybe one or two based on form or block of games. Think we are in a great position list wise.

Have we really got that many banging the door down. Blight absolutely, but he has Kosi and El Nour doing very well on their forwards, so it does give him a lot of leeway to play off and intercept. Still he is banging.

Clarke is the other one, but won't be far away. Would think MacIntosh might have a nervous week on the track.

Trezise is good enough to be playing. Anyone else?
