This two soccers are gonna haunt sonsie - but I think I prefer him to Dow still

Everyone crapping on about the soccers which weren’t great but what about McIntosh being unable to get close to his opponents despite being fresh. He was absolutely useless and missed the goal that would’ve sealed it.

Sonsie had a good game when we were dominating but when the pressure was flipped he crumbled. But he is not the only player that deserves the drag through the mud.

Seth, Mansell, Kmac had no impact, Gray was well beat by Cadman.

No doubt he lowered his colours in the last but overall he had a very positive game especially considering it’s only his 3rd

Another game where we look at the opponent at the end of the game thinking they are not going anywhere. GWS are not top 8 material after that game.

We simply shot ourselves in the foot with poor conversion in front of goal. Thats the only reason we lost. 5-6 U14 standard shots at goal and some kicks into the forward line that were 1cm too long or wide. The pieces are falling into place and I think it will click before season's end with a couple of decent wins.

The great thing for me is that it was super easy to pick 5 good players today, and 3-4 could be added. Get more games into Smith, Gray, Sims, Mcauliffe, Faull & Trainor - and they will be our next Brown, Banks and Green. You can see the progression building and the old heads that stood up today almost caused the upset.

Kudos to the Umps for once - they didn't slaughter us with BS "missed" frees - it was one of the mega rare Tiger's game that we can't blame on the umps - other than Lynch being infringed constantly.

We need to fix our goal kicking the same way we fixed the clearances this week. Only ourselves to blame for this game.

This is where we are as a team - still developing and we were not supposed to win a game this year. Kick straight and this was a 6 goal win. I wanted the win like everyone else - but coming into the game - we were not supposed to be within 6 goals of GWS. They have more problems that we do...

i liked trainor on the wing

however i wouldn't mind seeing clarke play on the wing at afl level since he has been killing it there in vfl


buuuuuut... given the option i'd keep trainor on the wing since the backline is full, and then drop sonsie or ross and have clarke play their high half fwd role

just need to see clarke back in, he deserves it

Sucks not to win today, but it was a good effort nevertheless.

Once again, our backline did well. Our forward line did well today as well. Although, they were too inaccurate. Will take 27 scoring shots though.

Our midfield performed very well. Welcome back Prestia! Best midfield performance over the last two years.

Sydney should be wary of us next week IMO

No we led by 4 goals for over 3 qtrs. The problem is the midfield panicked and our backs bombed way too much.
Played into GWS hands. That was disgusting that last qtr.

I don’t see why Ross is a lock to play every week. He kills our momentum too much. At least you can say about Sonsie that he hasn’t played AFL consistently this year, but I think I’m done with Ross.

One of the rare cases where I wish one of our players got less of the ball.

When the game was there to be won in the last quarter, we froze like deers in the headlights. The spread was gone, the appetite for risk was gone. But winning is a habit this young team is yet to learn.

Full credit to the guys for staying in the game for so long. I'm proud of our boys. Anyone who isn't can go **** themselves!
