Lynch was brutal today. Needs to have a good look at himself. Yes it's brutally hard playing as the only option in that forward line but he's still getting paid a top 3 wage and needs to act like it

I’ve always been a fan of the big fella but today he was beyond embarrassing. Not only did he miss two set shots (from beautiful Lalor passes) that you should’ve been able to put in the book, his play on the centre wing, in the final minute of the first half, was amateur hour. We’d just kicked two quick goals and were within 22 points and had a chance to reduce the margin even further but instead of chipping it around or going long he makes the braindead decision to play on with a man one metre behind him, gets caught, and the Hawks kill us with a simple goal - and then another from the centre bounce - so instead of potentially going in at half-time 16 points down, it’s 34 and game over.

The way we played today, couldn't careless if we lose players to injury. Haven't felt this disappointed since games last year.

Never expected to win but to see our players stop trying and let their opponents rub our faces in it was unacceptable.

Midfield issue - apart from being second to the ball when it’s knocked clear of the stoppage- even if we win stoppage clearances our mids lack the class and composure to find someone on the outside who has time to use it so our clearances are almost always ineffective. Many other midfields better at that than us.

Reckon it wasnt even Hawks B grade mids, more like their C grades.

Yet we have to put up with the same boring guys every week because our kids aren't ready. Gives me the shits, they want to give that crap effort sure, do it in the VFL then.

Not our club though, it's all about protecting our young players and let them stew in the VFL no matter what.

I'm off Yze, last year gave me doubts, today confirmed it.

He played like a clapped out no good mofo today , sec efforts were non existent and two sitters werent close , shocking effort I expected much better

Big couple weeks for Yze. Has yet to make any real move at the selection table. Senior players keep getting gifted games. Kids in the VFL not rewarded for form.

Short has been putrid and a poor leader. Kaleb Smith should be in his role and given a good run at it. McAuliffe is also a must inclusion. You need to reward form. Back up your selection integrity nonsense you've sprouted. Pick any number of underperforming mids for McAuliffe to replace.

10 day break and the amount of players just jogging or attempting to tackle halfheartedly as the Hawks ran through us was disgusting. I hope Yze really goes hard at them this week. Our effort was poor.

hawthorn are a fantastic running side..... even the umps were so impressed, they let the brown and gold boys run 40 metres+ without bouncing it on at least 6 occasions.
