Ross went at 81% with 2 Turnovers from 26 touches.
The Ross hate from today is a joke. He was solid today and has been consistant all uear, people are just looking for reasons to hate.
It’s his slow ball movement that is the issue.

What’s wrong with posting more when we have a loss? I for one like letting my frustration out on here when we lose. When we win im happy and don’t really need to post.
You seem like a sane person though...

Because he does nothing with the ball.
Holds it up and slows down the play. If you want to go no where then keep playing Ross.

Yeah he has been a incredibly ordinary player considering his talent. If he has a physical reason for his poor performance, then he shouldn't even be accepting an extra year & have zero idea why we are even offering it.

If he plays in 2026, it better be on a rookie salary. He has been paid over $4,000,000 to play 22 games for 88 marks and kick 35.28 over the past 3 seasons. He fricking owes us a year based on his suspensions alone
I’m not so blaming him for years off injured , that’s all fair in love and war ,but right here and now , and not sure he contributes that much. Hope I eat my words in a weeks time

Terrible take. Has been a great player for us since crossing from the Suns. We don't win the flag in 2019 without him and his physical presence in games has helped immensely on most occasions. He's had a bad year no doubt but I'm glad he's playing on, will help the young forwards develope quicker with him down there.

I worry sometimes our w/l record is covering up the massive lack of quality football we are playing. This is not a stat-line that shows a >1 goal loss. I hope the way we are playing is the best for our development & not just short term results.

Fantasy points are useless. The 'AFL Fantasy' awards 3 points for a kick and 3 points for a mark. 2 points for a handball.

So if a player stands still on the half-back line, look around for half-an-hour, and then chips it sideways 15.001 metres to his mate - he gets 3 pobnts for a kick, and his teammate gets 3 points for a mark.

If you gave a quick handpass to your teammate running past, you only get 2 points, and your teammate gets zero (until he kicks it). I know which piece of play is generally better for my team.

Saints had 60+ more uncontested possessions than us, and 50+ more marks than us. We took more contested marks.

Short and kmac have been awful and need to go at the end of the year.
That will only happen if McIntosh retires and Short is traded.

We'll probably offer McIntosh another year and extend Short's by a further 3 years.

I can only think that they are trying to get him to work on his defensive game more now with a view to doing both next season.
I’m not sold, but I can see why he is not getting much of the ball.
Maybe that's why McIntosh didn't give the ball to him?

Maybe Yze decided letting them have their chippie game wouldn’t hurt that much and it really didn’t. Last time we had different tactics, there was no chipping by Saints maybe because we played one on one and they won by 82. Which do you prefer?

Lynch can shoulder a fair amount of blame on that loss , 1g3 one OOB and that horrid turnover in Q1 that resulted in a goal , terrible game
Personally I think he is beyond cooked and I’m not thrilled he has signed for next year. I sort of understand why they’ve signed him but gee it would be nice if he could kick a bit more accurately.
