Same, and his stats align to the best of our small half forwards during our premiership years. Can nearly lock him in as a best 22 player for the long term.

Looking at stats table in paper and really plsd to see 3 young blokes I flamed for lack of pressure last week all had significant improvements

We got smashed by teams who took the ball out of the contest and transitioned forward quickly - they did a bit of that but very often the ball was contested on the ground or near the boundary line. We did an outstanding job down back and created open play when we had the ball, their defence wasn’t up to much in the face of lynch so our young forwards got a fair shake.

Also thank god we kicked fairly straight.

Lynch is getting better ea week and rioli has def helped raise the level in f50 with a few others catching on too . We have to bridge the i50 deficit as ooze said , won’t win too many games conceding 20 i50s to oppo ,,, and they kicked like cnts too

Nobody was complaining about Ryan in the third when his ruck work was part of our surge. Yeh shit two HO in the last. Think he thought he was getting a free in the first one. Well done to Ryan for winning the third centre HO, didn’t drop his head. Nank is not going to make it all year solo and Ryan is far and away our next best rap ruckman

I was thinking at 3/4 Sampson wasn't looking out of place. Not tearing the game apart, but holding his own and giving Nank the rest he needed.
Obviously the plan was to play Sampson at the start of the last to sub him off later. Unfortunately he lost his balance the first bounce and was beaten the next which undid all the early good work. As you said though, pleasingly it made him angry and just dug in when previously he might have dropped his head.
Still a very long way off being more than a break glass option as number 1 ruck. Let's hope Nank stays fit.

Starting to become a regular 20 possession player a game and is a beautiful kick. Only played 26 games still.

He looks like a real solid player who’ll develop really well. Baffled when I read people complaining about him.

I wasn’t at the game as went away with family, so couldn’t tell all the match ups but wasn’t he also on Humphrey (7 disposals?). Banks is not getting dropped … I’d say he won’t be dropped for the remainder of his career. Future gun.

Nank should’ve played the first 10-mins, then depending on the state of the game had a big rest after that. But we put Ryan in against a fresh Witts… dumb dumb coaching move that gave GC a sniff.

Let’s just keep perspective … he gave a bloke who was probably mouthing off at his party all night an almighty shove, and laid into him with a few drunken punches that didn’t cause anything beyond some minor abrasions.

Anyone would think he drove on the wrong side of the road and almost killed someone, causing serious physical and mental trauma to the victim.

not really, hindsight is a wonderful thing. what happens if he (nank) pulled a hammy 2 minutes into the last quarter because he was still a bit puffed from his massive 3rd Q??

.... ooze really needs to test out Ryan because we aint playing for sheep stations and Ryan got his chance/moment and wasn't up to it in some ruck and marking contests this time, I hope he gets another big one and full game at it when we give nank a week off.
