Depth players who got 6 or 7 games in 2017 haven't had a look in this year. Soldo, Markov, Stengle, Miles and the like. Good argument for giving Nank a rest. But I'd do it in the last 3 weeks.

If we could beat a reasonable fast side in CWood with an injured Prestia...then we are a chance against Geelol at the G with a similiar side minus Prestia! If it was at Kitty Litter Park reckon geelol would start favourites!
Will be a tremendous test...and show whether we are a B2B chance...

Just quietly Rance has been crap all year. Doesn't look near as solid as previous seasons down back. He seems to be flailing around and it almost looks like he's lost a bit of strength in one on ones. He was never great in one on ones but now he is almost looking like a liability when he is isolated.

The pies midfield won possession, but we stopped most use of it. Geelong will likely also win possession. But they don't have the run and gun that the Pies do. We just have to turn it into a grind where we out run them and stop their ball movement. And Dave to shut Tomahawk down. Then they basically are screwed.

Still we need another midfielder, and I don't reckon Jack, Graham that is, to come right back in. Maybe CEllis playing another role - or even better just take the leash off him and let's see if he can play AFL.

Our depth is being tested quite a bit for a team with no injuries.

I would agree, but only on monster forwards that can take a mark. That's an old issue though. Rance loves to move, and guys that take that away are a problem. Other than that he's been damn good this year - again.

We play Astbury on the monsters and Dave usually puts them to sleep. See this weekend who takes Hawkins.
