I thought that tonight was, not only the best game that Brandon Ellis has played for a couple of years, but the best game he's played. Period. Cotchin was magnificent. He's now at the stage where, if he gets the ball at half back, I start assuming that we're a good chance of scoring. Rance, Astbury and Grimes all superb down back.

Out: Elton, Lloyd, Castagna.
In: Garthwaite, Lennon, Butler.

I asked the question last week when Lloyd put in an average/poor performance whether he gets another go, most said yes and I agreed.
Week later, started well but really poor second half with some selfish acts.
Does he get another chance?
My answer isn't the same as last week.

Was at the game, first for the year.

I Was pretty happy with the win. I was incredibly worried in the first few minutes when they kicked the first three goals, I thought they were going to do to us what they did to West Coast.

One thing about this game is we actually played 4 quarters. We didn't come out on fire like we have for the first quarter and then perform poorly for most of the rest, we played evenly and consistently.

Good:

Dusty and Cotch :thumbsu: Grigg solid once again, nank pretty good
Astbury and Rance great as usual
Short good, still pissed off at that deliberate decision, that was rubbish.
Brandon Ellis played the best game I've seen in him play in ages, he played with confidence which we really haven't seen for years. Knew he had it in him.
Houli was very good as well, barely gets credit here.
Bolton showing good signs, would have liked to see him get a goal though :(
Caddy was good but ffs kick accurately

It was a pretty even performance really.

Bad:

Inside 50 conversion
Lack of tall targets - thank god we are targeting talls. Elton tries but just isn't with it, was good to see him get a goal at least.
Goal kicking accuracy (ffs Jack)
Leaving too many men free

Out: Lloyd
In: Butler

Just got home from the game.
Absolute lol that thesee pretenders can think think they could have beaten us.
They are the worst side I have ever seen. So soft and no heart,
Suck a dick.

Menadue might be alright. He crunched Goddard to hell. And had a Phil Manassa run.
He was very decent. Loved his game.

aFirstly, absolute lol that that s**t trck of a side called Essendon could have thought they could beat us. I have never seen a more pathetic and softer side.
