Completely agree with you Rodneydangerfield...

All these injuries have provided great opportunities to the kids and fringe players at our club. Boy have they delivered!! Can see the hunger they have every week wanting to improve and knowing we have guns returning soon!

Makes for an extremely successful and exciting club! Loving this season..

And please to the person who snuck into Dusty’s house and injection him with Michael Jordan’s secret stuff, a huge well done!!
Welcome back to the hungry role model Dustin Martin!!

I’m stoked to say Dusty and BEllis were the best today by far! Worst was Lynch for letting that little psychopath get under his skin.

Hate to say it, but he's a very good player who gets under a lot of skins. And will for a while.

Another sensational win by our boys, another absolute rort of biblical proportions by the men in fluro,I have it on good authority that the number 10 fluro genuinely hates our guts and didn’t he let it all hang out today.

#weareeveryonesgrandfinal

Essendon’s turn to train the leggies off.

Could not be more prouder of our club.

bummers play better against higher teams

beat pies if it wasnt for umps, geelol and whoever else lol

we need to be on or we will get rolled, especially with the umps going in dry

We need to focus on this game,we are everyone’s grand final afterall,Essendon will lift for sure.

Higgo won’t get dropped , would be menadue , and pretty stiff too
Menadue allowed Vlastuin to get some time running through the midfield. Whilst I really rate Vlastuin as a defender and think he’s one of the best midsized general defenders in the competition it was really nice to be able to put his big body into the midfield.

It’s certainly a handy thing to be able to do.

Better than being an unwanted flog and uninvited guest with nothing interesting insightful or intelligent to say. You may be top 1% on the pies board but here you rate just under shazza
You have serious issues if you get angry with someone discussing football in a polite manner on the internet.
I'm not your enemy, just because I follow a different football team to you.
I have a genuine interest in the game. I enjoyed watching the Tigers play the Hawks today.
Sat next to a group of Tigers fans with my 11yo godson, had a terrific day.
Thank Christ I wasn't sitting next to an agro bugger like you.
Some of the posters on BigFooty asked me to return to your board and give my opinions on the game as a neutral observer - hardly unwanted or uninvited.
You don't have to read what I say.
Others don't seem to have a problem.
Talking on here is just like talking to people in a pub. Like to see you walk into a pub and call someone you don't know a flog.
Maybe you are underrage? You certainly show a lack of maturity.
I'm just an old retired bloke who enjoys the game.
What gives you the right to say who can or cannot comment on here?
It's not a "no opposition supporters thread" - uninvited? Where are the invites? Where's yours?
As for nothing insightful - I'm no Ron Barassi, never proclaimed to be - but reading your ascerbic posts you don't seem to contribute much yourself.
If I posted the exact same comments but identified myself as a Richmond supporter you wouldn't even respond. Probably even get a "like" from you.
That's how stupid and juvenile your attitude is.
Who's Shazza BTW. I take it it is someone else you're angry with.
Not my problem
Intelligence? You don't seem to display any of that, nothing but abuse towards someone you don't even know.
Pull your head in and grow up.

Yet another great thing today was in the earlier game to see the hunger and sharp focus of Rioli yet there doesn’t really appear to be a spot for him to come straight back. Butler too looks switched on but there’s no way back yet let alone up and comers like Naish.
It actually beggars belief that some of the biggest names still have to come back and knock blokes out of spots too.

Last 7 H&A matches in a row at the G too.
Great fixture.
Finishing top four must be priority.

Geelol finish first, we finish 4th, final played at the MCG, we win a close one....Corio bay will be salty for a decade.

It's been more than 30 years since i can recall this sort of genuine depth. That's not to say they are all gems, but I recall Hafey sides having roles and that's his teams ran deep. He probably coached with a fair bit more passion, though some of that sneaking out of Dimma more these days.

Changes are really hard for next week. Real hard.

There is no way they will not play Rioli in dreamtime. So who comes out?

For mine it's one of Castagna, Bolton or Menadue.

Bolton had 4 goals last week and has a higher ceiling. Castagna is the most consistent. Menadue probably the least talented of three but had the better game this week.

Do you think rioli plays next week? It’s hard to see him not playing considering the importance of the night and his and he’s family contribution to the jumper design...
Who does he replace if selected?
