Haha he’s not my boy. I don’t have boys.
I just watch games and see who’s playing well and who’s not
For example I could look at say Brandon Ellis or Nick Vlastuin at the moment and say “let’s drop them” and i’d sound like a dickhead , much like you do right now.
There have been times I’ve called for Macintosh to be dropped too I’m sure, but now isn’t one of them.
No point saying you see a lot more wrong with him without pointing it out. So tell us.. what’s he doing wrong?
I really like this post

85 points was a good score in the end, considering the short break and Melbourne tactics (aka "park the bus").

Our forward handball through the middle of the ground is devastating. Combined with our zone defence, it's the key to our game. I can understand the frustration of opposition coaches - Richmond are very predictable, but also very hard to beat because the players are so well drilled.

I would have taken 3-3 at the start of the year, so very happy with 4-2. Injury to JR#8 is a worry, but I suppose plan B (Lynch to kick 6) is ok!

got to love the oppos still saying we "get lucky" with tap-ons and kicks off the ground and taps to space etc. how have they not realised we do all this on purpose? we actually train and put effort into this stuff. it isn't luck. we know where our teammates are or where they're going to run to and don't need to take possession to get it to them. it's a skill and we're the best at it in the afl.

he was pretty good last week i reckon, and in the gws game, he wont be dropped
Won’t be dropped I agree but he will be most under the pump to be dropped soon. I bet he gets a fair clip for that attempted banana on the run, that was just selfish.

Jack Ross one of the first picked for the next game. Baker, Stack ain't going anywhere.

Let's just get a tall defender in the mid season draft.

Graham, Cotch, Bolton. Grigg on the sidelines...

Jack Ross.... pick 43 ha ha ha ha ha
Butler will find it hard to get back in.

Fortunately for us, even if Jack does miss a month, we have five very winnable games coming up, where we should go in as favourites. I would expect to go at least 3-2 in that time, but 4-1 should definitely be achievable. Dogs, Freo, Hawks, Drugs and norf are all beatable.

It’s how the afl want the game to be played. They allow dropping the ball to move it forward. Yet they reckon we are a blight on the game lol better than just bringing the ball to ground and sitting on it and flooding numbers around the ball like the shemons. Tugz are exciting and beautiful to watch.

Hardest one will be the Drugs, hawks will give us a shake as well.

Freo very up and down, but we have good history against them. I expect us to beat norf and the dogs.

Also want jack done for a chicken wing

What’s the bet stack gets done for not being a soft cock
i hope stack gets done for his bump because even all the neutrals loved that bump and will lose their shit on twitter/facebook and we'll appeal and make the AFL look like morons yet again plus we will get to see sstack suited up at the tribunal

Was trying to sum up Higgins' games the last few weeks and arrived at Conca-esque. Got his 25 odd but you hardly noticed it. Did the team things but nothing flashy. Not really sure how I sit with him at the moment.
Na. You always noticed Conca ask Freo at the moment. Just more for the big stuff ups.
I reckon Higgins just matures every game.

Hawthorn are rubbish. Today will tell us a lot about the Dons, but I think the Pies touch them up. Essendon are on the tier below the best teams.

So glad some people here aren't involved with the club. It continues to amaze me how certain players automatically should be dropped if they have low stats. In what alternate reality are all 22 players going to dominate in the same game?

That's just not how sport works, I blame fantasy football.

To the people knocking Lynch... Seriously ?
The guy spent the lions share of last season out with a PCL injury
Had a very limiting pre season in the run up to this year.
Is trying to fit in and learn the patterns and idiosyncrasies of his new team mates on the fly.
And after all that was still coming second after the Port game in the Coleman ..

Some people really need to revamp there expectations
