We have been in that spot and the smashing we got from the media week after week was relentless.
Particularly from a ******** like “Stevo”.

Great signs from our young players.

But I'm really worried about Dusty.

Is it just a really bad form slump?
I wouldn't be to worried.. Hibberd normally gives the Dees a heap of drive off half back... At times tonight it looked like Dusty was leading him away from the play .. Maybe a coaching call??

So apparently last night was a much improved performance for Melbourne according to Goodwin, Gawn and Stevo..

FMD how bad must they have been last week if last night was a step forward ? They were goalless for a quarter and a half.

3 day break for them, 5 days for us :drunk::drunk::drunk:

The player most under the pump now is Rioli.
Bad signs were when he tried that ridiculous banana early on and was all downhill from there.
Is a bit down on form but he did pull that one off for GOTY 2017. Is still doing the team things and I 'd expect him to keep working and get back to his best.

What a horrid game to watch! Take the 4 points and move on.

Toast: Vlas, Bachar, Lambert (lifted after a quiet start to the year), Ross (natural footballer) Baker (gets better every game) Stacky! (Has fast become my favourite player) and B.Ellis 8 tackles and put his body on the line several times.

Roast: Edwards, was a dogshit game from him, his disposal was abysmal! Normally way better than that.

I've said that if only we can dial back the selfless football just a tad....we'd prolly kick a few more goals....but for the frenetic approach...don't mind it..coz comes finals time....the game IS frenetic. So we'd have a huge advantage if we play frenetic for the previous 23 weeks, that's lots of practice for the reflexes....better this approach than play normal and somehow switch to frenetic in the space of one week.

Carry on Tiges.

Don’t think you’ll get too many arguments to be honest. Thing is for Dusty the new breed and the reinvigorated old breed who play what Dimma loves to call the Richmond way expose what you point out even more than otherwise would be the case.
He’s very one way a lot of the time atm but he’ll need to tack on.
Watching at the game, i thought he looked unfit, but i must be wrong. he was on his haunches a few times getting the air in.

We're a red hot chance this year. Make no mistake.
Well we're going to want to improve because when we come up against Collingwood again they have 22 playing for them... I know Eddie McGuire owns the Melbourne Stars but I didn't realise he owned the umpiring fraternity as well

No need to play Astbury next game and give Jack and Cotch all the time they need and then some. That’s the reward for where we are at.
Just creates further opportunity to expand our already growing depth and options, whilst preserving the big guns for the business end.

I like being where we are at.
Let the other mobs be the benchmarks and go about our business. I’m happy to talk the like of Collingwood up as much as I can, means nothing as we know too well.
Just ghost our way through, hopefully finish top 4 and then go bang.
