Bit worried about Dusty and Rioli. Expected them both to have massive years.
The way Ross & Lambert & Prestia r playing , soon one of them will be copping the tag & Dustin will hopefully fire up

102.4 % looking better.
Vlastuin the standout for me, then throw a blanket over Baker, Lambert, Prestia, Ross, Ellis, Houli. Two of them going to have to miss my votes though.

But every second highlight we see for the rest of the week until next round will be either Sydney Stack's mark or Sydney Stack's hit. I prefer the hit.

Can't believe I used to think Nafan Jones was exactly the player we needed. What a try-hard softcock. And Viney is just as bad.

I love Nank like I love Maric. But Maric used to get mauled by Sandilands and other tall ruckman and I didn't mind Hampson offering support against them.
Wondering whether Soldo has more height and should be considered against rucks like Gawn?

Backline solid. As good as its been Ranceless I reckon.

The Lynch/Riewoldt/Caddy forward line wasn't over-convincing but give it time. George is frustrating but somehow gets himself into the right positions and offers something a bit different.

Midfield is probably the area that Melbourne looked better on paper, but Ross, Prestia, Lambert, Baker, Ellis, Higgins all matched and then overran them.
I love watching K-Mac. Never predictable. Mind-******* one moment, brilliant the next.

Edwards, Rioli, Caddy, Lynch not at their best. Rioli probably the biggest concern with a run of ordinary form.

Dusty did a few nice things, but their were some moments were I thought he looked weak and lazy. He is still a handy player on his off games though.

Balta..... Useful as a second ruck, has some exciting moments, but basically carried in the team at the moment. That's OK as long as we can afford it and its helping his development but I expect him back in the VFL at some stage, hopefully as a direct CCJ swap for a decent block then swap them back again.

Astbury hopefully OK, otherwise Garth or even MIller time.
Riewoldt may be a concern? Bring back the unfortunate Bolton.

I'm enjoying my footy this year.

Bachar looked liked he has not even missed a game this year. He is truly sublime and is so incredibly consistent.

The young talents coming through are truly exciting.

Bellis is really cementing his position in the team. He has really taken the next step.

Lambert. Reminds me of Tuck. Just gets the job done with no fanfare whatsover.

I genuinely thought that we would not recover at all with our some injured or missing but he was I will.

Hope Jack is OK. Apart from the goal-kicking, that was a perfect illustration of how valuable he is - big pack marks, good leads, brilliant thinking.

Think Rioli may need a run in the twos - put him on the ball and let him get his hands on it. He's nowhere at the moment.

I thought Baker was lucky to hold his spot ahead of Bolton, but I was wrong (again). He's so much a clone of Lambert - hard-running, straight ahead, slightly iffy shot for goal. I like him.

When you consider how poorly Martin and Caddy are playing, there's a lot of improvement still to come.
