He and Dave Armitage were at the crown tonight and I managed to have a few words to Eddy. He was in a knee brace and was walking well, I asked him about his thoughts on the umpire who put him out for four weeks and he was p'd off about it to say the least, as ou would be I guess. He is hoping to get back playing in the last practice match before the season starts and he said that he is looking at a HF type role this year. He is a quality bloke, very easy going and talkative.

Half forward role is pretty much up for grabs so he could fit in there. The only thing he'd lack is impact on the scoreboard in my opinion, if he could do that combined with his defensive pressure up there he'd be a great option.

Dave Armitage was fixated on his roulet and i didn't want to disturb him as the whole table was full of his chips he is a serious player. All I can say about him is that he must have put on a fair bit of size in the pre season because he is a tank and a half. Rob Eddy was sitting back and watching which was why i spoke to him rather than Army. I put a bet on number 20 for fun and he had a laugh so it was all good.

I had a Carlton supporter sit near me and point out Eddy and Armitage on the nearby roulette table.

I'd had a few drinks and was concentrating on the poker and when I looked up again they had gone.

Good that Armo is losing all his money in the Casino, will have to work harder to make sure he keeps his job.

I had AK against his J10 but with two live cards I should have just called and got away from it when I didn't hit on the flop. That's Poker Pro for you anyway.

At least I can verify that this story is genuine, you get a lot of people saying they met a particular player out on the town and they said this and that.

Oh, for those that are wondering, we're talking straight after the NAB Cup game on Saturday night and not 3 or 4 in the morning when I'm sure they along with the rest of the list we're tucked up in bed.

Come on JB, I think you're being a bit unfair to JustKreuzin here.

He might be a Carlton supporter but as CHBench said he certainly hasn't discredited the two players. In fact he was not only complimentary but as you can see in this thread our supporters were certainly interested in what he had to say.

BTW, they were playing $5 roulette in the Las Vegas Room so they are hardly high rollers.

I apologise and it's something I'll try not to make a habit of in the future.
