My view on it is who cares.
A lot on here whinge we get two players nominated, the same lot whinge when we get seven and want 10 or 15.
It's a pointless exercise, all it does is once again highlight how many supporters, including a lot of our own, fail to consider the bigger picture and never rate any players outside their own club.
The difference between players 1-10 would be marginal and undoubtedly others would come up with a different pecking order.
Same with players 11-50 - marginal differences.
I rate Grimes higher than most everybody on here - I'm even on record as saying I value him higher than Rance (he's been beaten by his opponent less over the journey and elevated his game to a new level this year), but no way he replaces anyone in that top 10.

Curious where was McGovern ranked? Or more precisely was Grimes the top ranked KPD.

Haynes (GWS) came in two spots later than Grimes, and before the good McGovern

Not sure I agree, think the preseason top 50 is less about form and more about potential and end of season top 50 is definitely more about form.

Perhaps robbo changed theme a bit Sheahan was def more about caliber

Apart from Jack not being in it , seriously how do you leave out a forward that kicked 5 in the GF and vlas is too low at 41 . When will dikwads out there realise our defence is very good coz our defenders are very very fu**en good.
Ffs try holding a side to 3G their lowest score in history in a GF with 6 blonks in your defence. Think about it

Jordan De Goey is much better player than Treloar. In fact I'd have De Goey, assuming he's fit, Top 10.

Good to have 7 tigers in there though.

Second half of the season was the best in the league. Dustin’s best games were miles ahead of anything any other player produced this season.

Best big game player in the league and its not even close. He is a footy God when its big game time
