I was at the game and saw him go off. Just thought it was collision injury at the time. Most people where I was sitting were obviously unaware of the injury. Bit shocked to read this and really hope it's not an ACL.

One of my favourite footballers outside of my team, this would be a real shame. The work himself and the Western Bulldogs leadership group has done working with Luke Beverage has been simply amazing. The Bulldogs playing in September wouldn't be the same without the man that had a large part in the success. That being said I really hope he hasn't done his ACL however if he has, he's got a big decision to make but his decision needs to be respected. #PrayForBob

Early on I didn't seem to care much. Sick of the media fawning over Bob Murphy like they've always loved him and Gerard gets so lost in Bob love he actually misses the point of Murphy's charm. Ruins it completely.

But now it's set in I'm a bit sad for Bob and his bulldogs.

If there's ever a situation for a bloke to have a LARS and try and be back in 4 months then I reckon this is it.

Like others have said, the LARS question has to come down to Bob's long term health and potentially, the rest of his career if he thinks he can go on into his mid-late 30s.

As far as I'm concerned, he does what he wants. Whether he pulls the pin or chooses to go on another year or two, the club obliges. He dragged us off the canvas to be in our current position - he's earned that much.
