Still just utterly devastated. The look on Bob's face when he went down slaughtered me.

Heads up, gives the younger group a better chance to step up and lead.
Murphy will also play a role in this season to help the dogs out, so dont think he will be sitting at home doing nothing. Seems like it won't be the end of Murphy so heads up.
I also suspect the players will go out and dominate more than ever for Murph. This may actually help out team become stronger as Murph will help Bev, and Murph knows how to treat the players, he will be able to see it from a coaches perspective.
It will work ok out in the end

The Western Bulldogs’ early prognosis has been confirmed, with scans to skipper Bob Murphy’s left knee revealing a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
Murphy went in for scans on Monday, with the results confirming what had been suspected on Sunday evening after the Dogs' three-point loss to Hawthorn.
“Bob’s scans have just come in and they do confirm that he has ruptured his ACL and he has some medial ligament damage as well," Football Manager Graham Lowe told westernbulldogs.com.au.
“We’re going to give Bob the next few days to consider his position, and [his] plans for moving forward.
“The Club will support him in any way we can to make sure we support him in making the right decision for him and his family.”
https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/robert-murphy-acl.1128794/Know there's been a lot of good wishes from opposition supporters here which had been nice, but is there is a general afl thread where people are discussing this? Just never seen a guy so loved by opponents as murph and would love to read.

Don't think it will be any different to what was said on channel 10 earlier? Just said that it was obviously disappointing and that he knew straight away that it was an ACL.Bob on Ch9 news tonight - Victoria.. Watch it
Stevo has got him on Ch7 as well. Bet the campaigners from both news outlets will play the story at the same time.Bob on Ch9 news tonight - Victoria.. Watch it

Before this, I would have thought he could go 'till 40 with his body. Now it looks like he will only win 1-2 premierships. oh well.
