... and he's a gun from Port Melbourne :)

I have a feeling after people with Port Melbourne on top of the table in the VFL, a few more AFL clubs will be looking at us for recruits.

Richmond nearly took Mitch Keddell from us as well (until he's injury late in the pre-season)

Go the Burra, yeah he was always exciting at Port but never had a tank, also was more a reciever than now he has worked hard to get where he is and all the best to him.

Came in to post something similar. You've said it better and I really couldn't be bothered with the Tiger supporters who'll say he's elite/ almost elite.

Nah, I don't think anyone's going to claim Nahas as 'elite'. Even the most excited ones wouldn't go much past "very good honest player".

You sound like you're getting a little jumpy.

Hardwick seems to be getting the most out of players that people had written off.

Jake King and Nahas are revitalised under him. Edwards to the point where some are ruing his early injury on Sunday.

Alot of new coaches would have just cleared those blokes out on their arrival.

Been very impressed with Nahas. Always liked him at VFL level but never thought he'd be much more than a decent goal sneak for Tigers. Been excellent as that extra creative option, has that ability to take the ball from deep and start dangerous, quick attacks. Big plus for Richmond if he can keep up this sort of form.

I agree with the previous supporter. He has always been a liability as well as a weapon.

In liability terms he DOES sell people into trouble because he has limited awareness and runs at full tilt. It works when it works but when it doesn't it looks pear shaped.

That said the liability element is getting less each week this year and is trending towards being a weapon.

That's fair, but he's still learning how to play up the ground. Similar was observed of David Rodan before he was placed on the scrapheap. If his disposal was better, he might not have been running around the VFL at 21 or slipped through to the rookie draft.

You obviously haven't watched many of his games this year. Has been extremely damaging - breaking through traffic, taking on the opposition and running off his opponent. He has set up and kicked 3+ goals a game frequently. Ead effectively tagged him on the weekend so I would imagine most coaches would be concerned at the moment about him....including Sir James :p

Kelvin has enough trouble watching Essendon games.

Always saw a bit of potential in him had him in my supercoach team in 08/09 but bit the bullet last year (good decision) and this year Terrible Decesion:eek:

Nothing player.

Buzzes around and sells everyone into trouble including himself.

Don't think any coaches would be losing sleep if he got 100 touches.

At one stage during the north-Richmond game the caller said north were lacking a nahas type.

Always enjoyed watching him play but thought he was always a bit out of his depth. Hope he proves me wrong with a consistent year to back up his current form.

Its players like Nahas and King that make richmond a good team to watch. They're real goers. The Freo game was a belter as was 3/4 of the Bulldogs game.
