I will take a hike, funny the title of this thread that Robinson is better than Suban was started by a Fremantle supporter, i didnt start this thread.

Because he can't get fit enough.

His football attributes necessitate being in the midfield. He's far too slow to be an effective defender, in any role. If he can't win possession, he needs to influence contests - and he hasn't done that in a long time.

His career is at the cross roads. As he has no obvious role to play. He needs to find one, and play like his career depends on it.

I agree though he still looks 5 kilos too heavy. He has a powerful build but need to get the skinfolds down.

The difference between Mundy and Suban is that I don't think Suban can simply work harder.

Mundy always had the capacity to improve. He was never one dimensional.

Suban's greatest strength is his effort. But he's struck me this year as if he's done all he can, and he is defeated.

I wonder if we took Clarke at 24 and Suban at 37 if there would be as much complaining? Maybe a few years ago when Clarke was doing as much on the ground as a glove on a stick.

He can improve, just needs some time and some motivation. Apparently this is what Ross Lyon is good at. At least we get to see some of the new guys while he's in the WAFL.

Well, one encouraging thing is that if you change the name Suban to Pearce most of the threads in that story are shared between the two.

If Lyon has sorted out Pearce, there's a decent chance he can sort out Suban.

That is the only time that I can remember that Jones hasn't given Hill a pasting. Getting beaten once by a fit, motivated young bloke like Hill doesn't suddenly make him cr@p.

And as for rubbish skills... neither of our two best taggers are great kicks either. De Boer's hands are superior to the other two though.

Jones' match-up rarely plays a good game. That is the main job of a tagger. Crowley is in great form at the moment. But that doesn't make Jones over-rated.

I wouldn't buy into the argument if you knew what you were talking about but since you don't, let me help you along a little bit.
For starters, don't always judge a book by its cover. That seems to be your handicap.

Robinson is a glue that holds a lot of our kids together. Of course you don't see that and may assume that Judd may be the only hero at our club, but he's not.
Robinson bleeds for the Navy Blue jumper, but I'm just as sure he would have for the Purple jumper had have you selected him.
Robinson is full of encouragement for all around him and not just through the season proper but for every training session he engages himself in.
How do I know that? Well, I spend some time at training and for all the desire for the ball you see from him on the field, the same desire is there in the off-season and not just for his own endeavors but for every one of his fellow team-mates.

He has his flaws of course, but he'll also be the first to front up and tell you that he should have done better and will do so next time around.

Don't single out human beings with your own face-value prejudices, as it will come back to bite you in life.
That is for sure.

People read about conspiracy so it becomes real cause its easier to do that than and enjoy being judgemental than sit back and think in depth about it.
