Will be interesting now, with Tex and Hoops playing more up forward, and with the arrival of Garlett and Yarran, to see where Wiggins and Russell fit in.

I'd reckon one will play out of the two, but not both. I prefer Russell but that's just me.

Umm, they don't fit.
Set out your best team and they sit in the late 20s now.
Unless we have many injuries or teams expand to 30 a side they will not make it.

I said the same thing last year, but Ratten somehow managed to find a way to slot them in.

They'll still get games this year, you can mark that down, whether we like it or not.

Didn't get to see the game tonight but listened to it and have been following this kid in all the articles and forum talks...

Is he as tough as an Adrian Hockmott, Dean Rice, Andy McKay, Peter Dean...?

If he has half as much courage as any of these blokes I would be wrapped. My favourite type of players to watch and one which we so desperately need at the club

Think a bloke who looks a bit like Hicky (although a stick man version at present), but plays at the intensity of Peter Dean yet is almost twice as fast. ;)

Russell has a bit of speed in him and his pretty clean with the ball.

Except he shits himself whenever he needs to slot a sausage roll for us.
Nonetheless, he is improving JR and i think it's a very nice position for the MC to be in. If we could put Robbo's spirit in JR's body FORGETABOUTIT!!! :thumbsu:

I'd have Johnson in the side ahead of Robinson and Browne for the regular season.

We need Johnson's rebound and left foot bringing the ball out of defence.

Carrazzo will be sleeping nervously after Johnson showed he's a better kick and defended well.

Could be a hard year for Carrots with Stevens' boot being used to set up play.

Pagan would have been shot for doing that in a win. ;) :p :D

Walker will take Robbo's spot and play with similar intensity when he returns.

I think (or hope) the club are saving Hadley for the regular season.

I think Robbo would get a game Rnd 1 before JR,Chief, Yarran and probably Fisher also.

Walker coming in wont be the thing that pushes Robbo to the Ants.

Re Carrots - if he plays off the bench then so be it, but its hard to see him out of our 22 when fit. He is ultra consistent, runs hard, good in the contest and versatile, I dont see him playing in the Ants unless its just to get some match fitness.

What impressed me last night was not his skill (excellent), but his hardness at both the opponent and the ball. Not ONCE did he back down from a contest. THAT'S what I want to see. :thumbsu:

And for those that have been holding out for the interview with Robbo at the end of the game, it is now up on youtube.

Here it is:

Great interview - Robbo is a character! :D
Wow, he has A.D.D?

We learn something every day!

You're right there - definitely a colourful character. :thumbsu:

It's not your standard interview of "credit to the boys" and such.
