Just noticed that Anthony Rocca has 197 Collingwood games under his belt. He'll play his 200th against Brisbane at the MCG in Round 17.

A bit of an anti-climax actually. If he had not been suspended, he'd have run out for his 200th against Geelong. One would think that the anticipated lift that usually happens in milestone games may have been what would have got us over the line in what will surely be a cracker of a game.

Had we not contested the MR decision, he would have been out for just the one week and thus had his milestone game against Essendon.....mmm.. would have been handy there too.

Maybe it's a moot point anyway.... with the way we've been playing of late, just how much more could the guys extract from themselves anyway?

If we're good enough, we will win next weekend.

We haven't had as much success as the Roos in milestone games. In fact, I don't think we win them as often as we should. I remember Tony Shaw's 300th game... think we may have been thumped by the Roos.

At the moment Rocca has played 197 games for Collingwood and all together he has played 219.

It is Josh Fraser's 150th this week and against Geelong it will also be Ben Johnson's 150th.

Hopefully Josh Fraser can beat Tony Shaw's record games.

hehe.... on the contrary, I rarely listen to the media. At least I never use the term "going forward" that seems to have saturated sports commentary in recent times. I can't stand that:eek:
