As for the players, well, they got done by a bunch of pimple faced upstarts today.

Pretty much sums up what I feel.
That North game last week. I went, I watched, I sat numb with family members. I walked out when down by 98 in last quarter.
Since the 186 disaster things have only got worse and worse and worse. No end in sight.
Really, most of the players are not up to AFL standard and must be delisted next few seasons as contracts allow.

I don't mind it.

It would quell my deep seated fear that Stockdale or who ever is just another with an agenda or an ego that drives their interest in an AFL presidency.

I don't think it was for me... I was just in shock and disbelief that day, even to the extent of having a chuckle on the way home at what we had just witnessed. At least there was some hope for the future back then. Since that day though, the demoralising defeats have just kept coming, each one worse than the last - and I don't think there can be worse than losing to a winless team of 19 year olds.

186 could've been shown on the Comedy Channel given how much I laughed at it. After the first quarter of that game everything we did was a joke.

This loss isn't like that. Geelong were a dominant side; GWS are still a bunch of talented kids. I wasn't overly surprised by the result on the weekend, but it doesn't make it any less embarrassing or disheartening.
