If that whinging sook wants to bad mouth MY school because WE WON, and HER SCHOOL LOST, i will happily defend myself and my school.

I'd say tracking down your opposition on here and unloading would certainly point you in that direction. Be gracious as a winner and gracious in defeat - there's no glory in petty recrimination big guy.

Well done Magpie Girl - there's no easy way to judge creativity so 2nd could as easily have been 1st or 5th. I sound like a stoopid parent here, but it's true - if you had fun then you're the winner anyway.

For starters this is MY OPINION. I, & a lot of people I talked to (no even from my school) thought you guys weren't that good.
For starters, we didn't lose. Even in the heats we cleaned up, got more awards that any other school.... including yours. We came 2nd. I'm happy with that, just would have rathered 1st as I, personally, think we deserved it.

You, my friend, at Exhibit A. Arrogant ****. Pretty much proved what I was saying & now everyone knows.

I'll sit here and stick up for my school 'till I'm blue in the face because I love my school & I think it's absolutely awesome. I also believe we were the friendliest school...... that's gotta tell you something.

Our dance was fun & lively and so energetic. Unlike yours..... I wouldn't even call it dancing.

Yes, I am a St Mary's boy but i am still a human like everyone else..

Congratulations on second we really did not think we would have won, personally my money would have been on your school, but things happen and we performed our best and tried our hardest and achieved victory.

Being one of two captain's of the St Mary's team I know that we had not trash talked any other school, we had won the spirit award 2 out of 3 times in 3 different competitions, surely that shows we were nice?

It saddens me to hear that your team had thought we were "Arrogant" and putting it in your face, and where is the SPORTSMANSHIP in badmouthing another team on your trip home?

The guy with his shirt off is actually very shy, we forced him to have his shirt off because MOST of the girls at REC 2008 loved it and went wild. We used it to boost crowd support...

Basically here it is, Accept defeat.. Both teams performed great on the night and I'm very proud! When your school had beaten us in the Heats we accepted defeat and came back twice as hard.

Oh and P.S. Your right, A lot of the boys could not dance, but they still gave it their all! but some of us can, I'd honestly like to see one of your team heading to Melbourne and New Zealand for international dance squads? or beat me in a freestyle battle? I'm surely up for a challenge!

By the way, CORRECTION, we do get many girls, it is called a social life! Their great, get one sometime, I'm sure you'll enjoy it

I honestly couldn't care less because some girl making 'valuable posts' on a football forum so you respect her opinion, but what i do care about is when someone trash talks and disrespects my school.

Once again, not arguing just stating my ground. Oh and also i was talking to a girl from North Bundaberg during REC and she knows that were not a bunch of pompus and arrogant, disrespectful private school boys, I'm sure if you got to know some of us you would realise this too...

The respect is slowly coming back......

1. you say that you didn't trash talk anyone on the way home.... but Aidenkay said you guys did.....

2. Personally I didn't like the guy having his shirt off. Neither did a large amount of girls around me. But of course there were some girls who loved it

3. I take quite a lot of pride on my school & I don't like people bad mouthing it. We came 2nd, we know, we've moved on. It's just a little frustrating because this time & in 2006 we also came 2nd to an all boys school (Marist College).

Anyway, goodluck for the next few years. Unfortunately I won't be in the next one, that'll be one thing I'm definately going to miss....

With my first post about the finals, it wasn't exactly meant to attack anyone or your school for that matter. I was just stating how I felt. Probably came out the wrong way I guess....
