Haven't played the game for almost a week, join a 2 v 2 tournament. Teammate doesn't show up, expecting a round 1 exit, until..............



4 - 1 victory

Go to round 2, down by 3........ one of the other team just randomly disconnects. I score making it 1 - 3...............
The remaining teammate, forfeits and I go to the QF!!!

I ended up losing in the QF but what a run :P

Totally dominating a team 4 - 1.... with less than a minute to go and my teammate starts a FORFEIT vote AND HE LEAVES THE GAME. Which then crates a 2 on 1 situation,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Not too shabby though as I scored 2 more goals with the time remaining

I'd be keen for some semi-regular team mates if anyone is interested.

I'm currently switching between a new No man's Sky playthrough with some mates and then Rocket League. None of my mates play RL though.

I am mostly 2v2, I usually sit Diamond 1-2. I was D2 after my placing games the other day, but went on a big losing streak last night and dropped to Plat 3.

Would be good to have some people of a similar rank to play with repeatedly and learn each other's styles (e.g. I am a passer and even 1v2 in the corner I am a reasonable chance of getting it to cross in front of goal and I'm very happy for you to wait there to seagull it).

I'm around that level and still play every now and then. I'm D2-D3 at the moment. We may have used to play together a bit a while back? Not sure, but your user name rings a bell. Anyway, feel free to add Picko_99 on PSN if you don't have me

It's quite possible that we did, I did play with some people off here before.
I am on Steam, but I think we can add via Epic ID, I added that name in there and it went through so either invited you, or some random :p.

First tournament win in a while on a desperate and dateless Saturday night :P. 3 v 3 Pentathlon - every round was a different - round 1 was soccer with a cube instead of a ball, round 2 was snow day, the quarter final was regular soccar but on a non standard arena (with pillars and ramps in the way) the semi final was heat seeker, the final round was split shot.

Things were easy for our team until the final rounds. The semi final's heat seeker was a cake walk, the other team didn't like the method we used (one defends - launches the attack, the other two swarm their goal to put them off lol).

Split shot went down to the wire, we easily won round 1. Couldn't break the deadlock in round 2.... we had seconds left before we would have won the round and the final itself due to having more shots at goal vs them (6 v 2)..... but they scored with seconds remaining in overtime to send it to a decider. They went 0 - 1 up early on and we were not positive after that. But still got a lucky break and scored to send it into over time. I helped with the overtime winner by fluke of course but I'll take it :P

Things can get so heated, but then it's partially my fault because I was learning the hitbox of a car I've only just purchased (Sonic Porsche FTW!). T'was funny though as the opposite team were also bickering when they stuffed up simple plays as well. But my TM was hard to please, would go right off for "double committing" but at the same time he's telling me to GO FOR IT.... so what does he expect when I've got to swoop in to cover for his failed attempt forward ?

One of my greatest comebacks of all time. Other team just self imploded. Had a 6 - 1 lead with 2 minutes left on the clock, scored 2 quick goals that led to them starting to abuse each other via text. We kept piling on the pressure, which led to them making mistakes and us scoring crucial goals. They then tried to demo us to put us off, but we'd get rid of the ball before any serious carnage resulted on the scoreboard.

We had the game won with 30 seconds to go and they forfeited :D
