Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm shit at aerial but can see some players dominating with that.

...Guys pretty sure you are going to be absolutely uncompetitive without aerials in the basketball mode. Actually, don't think you'd be very competitive without aerials in the game proper anyway!

I don't know what sort of professionals you play, but in about 400 matches I've seen an aerial executed about twice.

Hardly a professional, Challenger elite/rising star in 3s and 2s, so about middle of the pack.

Do you only play the competitive mode?

For some reason I get harder opposition in the public pool than competitive, which doesn't make sense to me.

I play casual as well, there is an invisible MMR that determines who you play with. If you've seen an aerial executed twice in 400 games.... Well you're not being matched up with very good players

That was my first thought.

My basic strategy under a high ball is to drive under it and just push other cars away. Looks like Ill be playing the James Harden role on D.

Hoops will teach people aerials pretty quickly.

If you don't already at least try them, start doing so, especially when the ball is down the attacking end. You don't have to be able to change directions in the air and score insane goals, you just need to be able to get something on the ball so people who can do that aren't going to annihilate you

From the looks of the trailer, the ball will collide with the forcefield under the hoop, but cars will go through it. Wonder if cars can bounce off the actual rim.

Did they show a car driving into the hoop? It looks lipped so I was thinking maybe you can drive up the outside of it but can drive through it from the inside so you can't get stuck in the hoop.
