Is this in the ranked games? I rarely see anyone quit, as you get banned for 5-10 mins. There'll be plenty of times I see my team mates wanting to forfeit, but I never vote to do so, I'd rather make them play it out.

Just social. Ranked might be the go for me if you can get banned.

Yeah, you rarely see people quit for that reason. Though you can find yourself banned for 10 minutes if you get disconnected which is annoying. Pretty rare though. Other annoying thing about ranked is you don't get re-matches, so you have to search for new games everytime.

I forfeit or get forfeited against all the time, but never leave the game with my teammates still playing.

Once the score is 4-0 or 5-0 and the big gulf in class is there for everyone to see, i'd rather get on to a more evenly matched game. It's no fun running up the score in a ranked match, and those games always take forever because of the constant goal stoppages.

Forfeiting is part of the game and it's fine.

Since PC and Xbox cross play the standard of RL is a lot higher. PC players kick my ass!

I've come back from 5-0 down before, and it was probably the most satisfying game I've ever played.

So have I, but i've only done so when I could tell that I was a pretty even match for my opponents and they'd just gotten a bit lucky early on.

Sometimes you can tell that you're no chance.

Ever since the Xbox and PC servers combined the lag has become unbearable for me making it unplayable. Disappointing.

Played a good game tonight with a mate.

Against a team of three, and won 3-0. They quit with 3 seconds left. We had the wax on wax off goalie system. They tried targeting the goalie to blow them up, but it didn't work. Each team member scored a goal and didn't concede a goal. Good stuff.

I then I get a salty message about how we didn't leave goals. Quality lols are had tonight. I'd screenshot his messages to post, but they are too salty and NSFW.

The XB1/PC integration is broken. The skill levels clearly need to be adjusted, because instead of my old level games everyone can now hit aerials from anywhere.

This renders the game extremely boring for me, because every lobby is far too good.

Played 4 games, got 10 points in all of them. Yes Rocket League, this is the skill level for me

Does hoops use MMR? I got into a few games with people who seemingly didn't even know you could aerial, and you are less than useless in that mode if you're stuck on the ground :\

Love getting demoted in doubles after scoring 5 goals and 4 saves due to bad teammate and getting matched up with a rank below...

Mind you I've actually been getting some pretty good groupings in casual 3v3 lately. Plenty of overtime and decent skill balance.

Ranked is normally fine, for the most part I get matched up appropriately. Occasionally though you'll get ranked up with clearly inferior players in lower ranks and get penalised despite being clearly better than them.

Just find friends and only play ranked with them. I struggle to play this game at all without being in a party with friends, it goes to another level when you do

I seem to have settled into Challenger 1/2 in solo and duel. Might as well accept my destiny as a consistently average player.

Play with your friends then and bring them up to speed. By being in a party with you they'll play tougher opposition and get better.

Even my most skilled friend can barely hit a basic aerial, we'd be lucky to ever win and I'd just rank down more

It is, basically. That's what the lab is for - to test ideas before they become an ordinary part of the game.

There is a noticeable input lag on the consoles. Pc plays much better.
