Rockhampton Rape & Attempted Drowning

This is both disgusting and unusual. A current case where the crime was alleged to have been committed at Yeppen Lagoon in Rockhampton on Sunday.

The husband of a pregnant woman is alleged to have r*ped a woman. Post rape he is alleged to have attempted to murder the victim by drowning her in a lagoon.

Shocking allegations. Hard to believe someone could be capable of this.

Presuming the alleged is the child’s father here. If found guilty, he’ll miss helping to raise that child too. Hardly a great start to life. Puts a huge amount of pressure on the child’s Mum too, having to do it solo.

Genuine question. What's with the random censoring of the word r*ped? Is rape ok but r*ped is not?
