Rodans Operation

Apparently Rodan's op all was successful and he will begin Rehab ASAP.

I feel shattered for the boy. New coach who has put his full support and faith into him, and willing to actually back that up with starting spots in the middle. He had been in our bests in both matchs i thought. Does anyone know how long he is contracted for? if this was his last year, i really hope they offer him another year at least. I know that his whole came revolves around pace, and that is now seriously under a cloud. But this kid was one of a rare species down at tigerland - Someone who really wanted and did his all for the club

if anyone can be dedicated and optimistic enough to overcome such a hurdle, i think Rodan is the guy. bring on 2006

so you think he will be re-signed? i think it would be great if they re-signed him for another year now. he is a dedicated kid, and i'm sure he will be spurred on so much more for his rehab if they show the sort of faith in him

Interestinly with Rodan going down it may just free up a chance for Hilton to possibly get in the side

I think Hilton's contract had to be extended because of his long-term injury suffered before it expired. Not sure how it works but I think Rodan may be entitled to an extension for the same reason.

we should have delisted hilton, he has been playing for 5 years too long. He gets too many injuries and when he plays, he only plays 1 good game in every 5

We traded away our first two picks which ended up being Jude Bolton to Sydney (pick 8) and David Wojinski to Geelong (pick 24). We got Hilton and Biddiscome in return.
