IMO, it's the reverse of what you claim.
Unlike everyone else on Seven who commentates on the men's games except Courier, he actually provides the occasional insightful opinion that's worth listening to.
For example, like the stuff he said tonight about what he and Hewitt worked on (and where the weaknesses in Djokovic's game were) prior to the US Open victory over Novak in '06. Very interesting, and the sort of thing you'd rarely be likely to hear from the unbelievably boring Alexander, Woodbridge et al.

Too biased towards Hewitt. People used to complain about Eddie on Friday night football when the Pies played. Rasheed is just as bad.

That there's such a 180 degree split probably proves he doing a really good job.

Yeah, but how many people have diasagreed with the opening poster's comment? Sounds like a few more people actually agree with me in the other thread.

Yeah 2nd set. Was strange that he just randomally popped up like that and I agree he is quite good.
Cahill would have to be the first commentator this year that when a 7 promo pops up he completely ignored it. Top form.

I hate Rasheed. He talks so much shit such as:
"You can feel Lleyton's positive energy"
And he talks about destiny and shit. etc...
He makes it too complex. Tennis is a simple sport, just watch it and enjoy it.

I think that Courier does a good job of keeping him honest. As the open has progressed he's picked up on this and seems to me like he's backing up what he says more and talking less crap. The both of them make a decent duo, which has progressed well over time.
