I like Floyd and Waters, but there is no way in hell I'll be paying that much for a concert ticket.JuddyisGod said:just had a look at ticket prices, $234 for the cheap seats and $389 for the good ones![]()
For that kind of money, I'd expect Jesus Christ to appear and sing lead vocals on "Brain Damage".HorseHead said:I like Floyd and Waters, but there is no way in hell I'll be paying that much for a concert ticket. For that kind of money, I'd expect Jesus Christ to appear and sing lead vocals on "Brain Damage".

I would assume that description would have been thought up by the promoters rahther than Waters himself.materamagic said:I don't like the way the solo Floydians promote themselves.
Roger: "the genius behind PF" is used on his tour promotions
I'd assume that would have been thought up by somebdy at his record company for promotional purposes.materamagic said:and Dave's solo album had a sticker "the voice and guitar of PF"

And WHAT is the Mystery merchandise item we get?Just watched IN THE FLESH 'live' dvd AGAIN! and just can't wait. With Platinum tix 7 rows from the stage i am busting to see this Concert!!! Anyone else going with Platinum tickets? ........And WHAT is the Mystery merchandise item we get?
Im not paying that much with no Dave Gilmour
Have seen the real thing, 'In The Flesh' (although admittedly without Waters at the time), back in '88. Don't need to see Waters solo, Floyd tunes or not, coz it's never gunna be as good.
Plus my all time favourite Floyd album is Momentary Lapse of Reason, and I doubt very much he'll be doing any of THAT album!!
Plus, as others have stated, no Gilmour, no good....
Just got home.
That show was freaking outstanding.![]()
Too tired to do a write up but i will say his voice was the best I've heard it in years. Did a few unexpected songs too such as Have a Cigar and Sheep which I thought was brilliant. The Fletcher Memorial Home was quiet moving too.
That show was far better then what i expected.
