The formation of Rogue Squadron was EU wasn't it? If so, doesn't exist anymore. Can be done however suits them. Just because we didn't hear a Rogue callsign in ANH, conceivably doesn't mean it didn't exist.

The force awakens gets a bad wrap, I still like it, it holds up quite well, not for originality but just as a good fun Star Wars film that you can watch with some popcorn and escape to, it's quite memorable in its own way..

Rogue One looks stunning going by the trailer..

That's what I thought too. The teaser was just pure brilliance.

This one didn't have the same edge to it, but having watched it again, I am more excited than before. I do have high expectations for this film.

But otherwise, there are some epic looking backdrops going on in there. The Vietnam-like jungle warfare. That mass explosion in the distance. Etc.
