Convince me otherwise.
Points for:
Gowers
Richards
Naughton
English
Williams
JJ
Lynch
Adams
Points against:
All the potatoes that he couldn't turn into players and the blokes who are taking too long.
Overall I'm extremely impressed by how often we are turning rookies/low draft picks into AFL quality players and also how quickly we are able to get the early picks ready for senior footy. Richards and Naughton both massively overperforming for first year players which I don't think is coincidence.
Perhaps only rivaled by Sydney in that regard. Also hard to quantify how much Dalrymples ability to spot talent contributed. However, our ability to develop talls has been a bit underwhelming with the exception of Adams who was already a gun in the WAFL but was an entirely new player by the time he played his first game for us. But then again Smith wasn't a tall and shouldn't be expected to develop anyone over 190cm.
