Excellent the list is slowely but surely getting signed up!!!

Now all we have to hope for is that Kennedy announces he has put pen to paper and we can go home smiling!!! (Even though this has indeed made me smile a fair bit).

What a legend!! The fact that we're right in contention for another flag in the next 2-3 years will ensure Rok will finish up his career as a one-club player. The fact that he's playing like a 28 yo instead of 32 doesn't hurt either.

He's another one who looks after his body, so playing till 35 isn't out of the question. I guess time (and injuries) will tell

On the other Swans forum someone asked him at the dinner in Sydney how come he hasn't signed a new contract, he looked flummoxed, apparently his contract doesn't come up for a little while *shrug*

ROK nearly left when the last contract came around. Carlton I think. Dodged a bullet there.
Hawks wasn't it? Don't think it was in any doubt this time round. Ageing player. Smashed out one hell of a season and signed a lengthy-ish deal to secure a couple of years at the best price possible. Not just that but we're in the window, lots of young lads around the place etc etc.

Fantastic news, also good to see him go in and bat for himself, no agent to take the cream off the top.

I stand corrected. So glad he didn't leave, he seemed very unsettled at the time, I really thought he was going.

ROK is so fit, he has to have (at least) two good seasons left in him.

Interesting to see whether he plays on beyond this 2 year extension. He'll be 34 at the end of 2014 but he is a machine, can't see him slowing down any time soon.

With the way he is playing at the moment then it's looking very good for him to push on through to 35 IMO. However, it was at the start of the 2012 season I was calling for somthing to be done as I believed his form was horrible & he seemed injured or something. However, very gladly will say my comments seem like utter tripe now in the context of what he managed to produce after his lowish standard early in the season. He's so fit I can see him celebrating his 35th, 36th or even 37th birthday in the red & white (heck, look at Fletcher & Boomer... Not exactly physical specimens like our Ryan ey?)
