Well im going to be a bit of a do-gooder here. The other night on the eddy show they talked about role models in football, and that kids should choose their role models carefully.I believe once you pull that jumper on you not only have a duty to perform on field for your club but off field as well.Of late in both codes of footy it seems that too many of the boys have forgotten that obligatiion to their clubs and to the kids.
For one we are all trying to stamp out the drug problem and prevent our children from straying down that path of self-destruction yet here are our childrens role models doing the very thing that we are trying to discourage. Also the hopuate incident is disgraceful even if we do find a laugh in it,another example of a fine young role model along with the ablett's,lappin's etc etc.......

next time you take your kids to family day i can bet your bottom dollar that some of the boys have come straight from a club to family day still pissed or pilled out of their brains...time to clean up your act boys and become good role models for the future afl stars, mind you there are still quite a large number of players that are excellent role models and the good outway the bad,we just seem to hear about the bad things they get up to,it would be nice to hear more good publicity of what our afl players do...
