Rolling All Australian Team 2020

But what about goal assists?

Are you saying Kennedy has gone from "not being considered" to now being in the team in the space of a week?

Huh?

Goal assists are are arguably just as important as goals for a forward.

I’m not sure who wasn’t considering Kennedy, but it certainly wasn’t unpopular to have Hawkins and Dixon ahead of him last week. He is now building a consistent body of work and not one offs.

Is that not the concept of a rolling All Australian team?

Nonsense.

You said he hadn't done enough to be considered a week ago. Now he's in the team. That was quick.

Basically there are "hitouts to advantage" and then there's silver service.
Yep..there were two occasions in the Geelong game (first goal of the match, and Ah Chee's crucial goal on quarter time) where Naitanui centre bounce tap was so decisive the ball went from his hand to an eagles mark in the goal square in less than 15 seconds.

Replace him with an average AFL ruckman and west coast lose that game by 3-4 goals.

Add the palm to Kennedy to that.

King..really?
Weitering has been incredible this year. He is a cert.
Like Wingard on the flank. Maligned but has shown his class.

King? Even the most bias of fan would think thats ridiculous.

And no Steele another of many glaring mistakes.

Top of the ladder warrants that kind of representation
Let's see:

Last year top side had 4, year before 4, 2017 had 3, 16 had 5, 15 had 2, 14 had 4, 13 had 2, 12 had 3

Powell-Pepper would be lucky to make the squad, same with Hartlett, let alone the side.

Kennedy plays at FF. So Dixon misses out.

Oh wait, I just saw how bad the rest of the team is as well.

Luke Ryan anyone? Gone to another level this season and will easily win Fremantles B&F.

He's competing with Cameron and Papley for two spots. And they both have more goals. So no, he's not a lock.
He's only two goals behind but rated as the best forward pressure player while still scoring goals.
Cant say he is a lock but it's a good example of why you need to look beyond just the number of goals for the full impact of a forward.

Don’t bother mate. It’s goals or nothing for him.

He has Oscar Allen in over Petracca as well.

I think even the most eyed supporter would laugh at king being in the team, very happy with how he is travelling though.

I think Butler is a lock at this stage and Steele surely has to be close

I think Wilkie is possibly worth a shout for the squad (haven't watched every saints game but he has been impressing me).
