should state which pick you believe is tied to certain teams. the 2 gws, bris and rich picks. maybe in brackets after the pick so those that dont know whats going on can understand. therefore limiting any confused comments or questions from the general public

Pick 19. Afl concession pick to the suns.

Pick 17. Geelong first round to richmond.

Pick 13. Collingwood first round to gws.

Pick 10. Melbourne first around to Brisbane

I think Smythe is saying it's more convenient if it's all readily available in this thread, otherwise people may as well just go to Lore's

Like that?

yeah like that. those in the know wouldn't need it but ive seen these so many times where people end up asking why teams have two picks and which ones are from other teams etc. this briztoon post would be perfect for the opening of this thread

That Suns pick better bloody disappear.
Pretty sure this years PP will be taken off them if they finish outside the bottom three.

There’s a reason why the AFL forbade them from trading it last trade and draft period.
Along with the suns extra list spots and ridiculous bidding system allowing their academy players to not be bid on
I think I remember the AFL mentioning something along the lines of their list size being reduced over the next couple of seasons to come back in line with every other team.

I agree they should also lose the ability to prelist academy kids, but they might keep that for one more year.

I think the ability to prelist will be gone by this years draft. I remember Craig Cameron saying a couple months ago that come 2021 they'll need points to match bids.

You have us taking Howes
1- what is his first name
2- what position does he play in

It seems unfair to give it to them. Then remove it.

The AFL did make it very clear when handing the priority picks to the Suns that some may be taken away. The overall package was supposed to be flexible, depending on how effective it was in addressing the Suns issues in the short term. They seem to be heading in the right direction, so for the sake of draft integrity it makes sense to remove some of these PPs/concessions the Suns currently have. Honestly, to my knowledge, I don't think the AFL has ever given such a generous package to a struggling team. In 2020 alone, the Suns ended up with arguably two 1st round talents for free in addition to the Pick 11 they had already traded away.

Johnson will probably not get past the first WA team to pick in the real thing

Honestly if that was our draft hand, I would be freaking ecstatic if we ended up with Rachele and Hobbs, but also gnashing my teeth seeing GC get Sinn and Fahey.
