Yes luke I understand what England is trying to do ..produce roads to suit there batting line up....6 and out that's how they play and they will suffer from it come the knockout stages
We adapt to the conditions.....not all the pitches are going to be flat as.....this is England not the subcontinent.....there will be cloud cover rain...the ball will swing...we have the bowlers to exploit it
As I said previously if it is dry and flat we pick the team most suited to those conditions
As I said don't be shocked if it doesn't swing. I'm not picking a side to deal with swing bowling. I'm picking a side to score runs against the spinners who generally bowl the middle overs. It's why I'm not a fan of Stoinis one bit. If we need a fast bowling AR, pick MMarsh, at least he's not hopeless against spin.
