I didn't realise Ron had even played 16 games with us before his sad accident. His stats for his three seasons with us don't look very impressive but we have to keep in mind that he arrived as a 16 year old and was playing against mature men for those three years. What I do remember is the hype around his arrival at Footscray and the excitement that we could have a real star on our hands given a period of adjustment. We can only reminisce about what could have been. Thanks for sharing the video.
