It only seems like a few weeks ago that I was arguing with an astute Bigfooty poster that Ronin wasn’t a spud who would be delisted at the end of the season. Actually it was only a few weeks ago, after his first game in the SANFL against the Panthers.*

IMHO Ronin is in front of both Hately and Fog for the role of big body midfielder. He also has quite good pace for his size. Obviously he has a long, long way to go but I’m telling you, he’s a chance.

* Note to self, find out who was the astute poster.

Given the level of Berry, Hately and Fog in the midfield he just needs to show something to be persisted with. Looks like Matt is pretty much done for a long time. Reminds me of Bont in his first year looking at highlights although thats just on a few attributes.
