C'mon dude that a bit too dramatic.Crowked said:Having any kind of surgery during the PS isnt good. It must be of considerable concern to require an operation in what is probably the most important time of the PS. If it was a lingering minor concern with a past injury, why wasnt it dealt with in the break? I'm quite concerned about it. Roo is our best and most important player, the last thing we need is to have the captain and our heart and soul on the side lines.

Roo ruptured his thumb ligament around this time a couple of years ago and went on to win the brownlow
Its just a follow up surgery, don't read too much into it. It might have just showed up in the last couple of weeks.
Crowked said:Maybe it is too dramatic. Maybe its just a minor problem that wont hinder him at all during the season. However groin injuries always seem to start as minor, but then just dont go away. We've had players have seasons destroyed by what started off as minor groin complaints, including Roo in 97. I hope your right, but I'll be convinced its not a set back when he's been back on the track and lines up come first round of the preseason cup.
