Not really fussed with taking Tim Golds to be honest. Probably haven't seen enough of him, but at the same time, not really sure I can see him getting a game.

According to the final rookie list order Brett Anderson just released on Twitter they have pick 2 and pick 20 only; with 20 already committed to an Academy rookie.

They have also committed to taking the delisted Jackson Paine (who I think is still under contract), so he should be pick # 2.

Just re: Keefe/Thomas

The club has stated that they will rookie them if available, but I've not heard anything from the club to specificy whether that would be in 2016 or 2017. Given they aren't eligible next year, it may well be that they are talking about 2017, unless they have other plans for them next year. I am sure there have been conversations behind closed doors about the clubs and players options for next year. If we are allowed to have them around the club, either in non-football roles, or are allowed to provide them with trainers or training plans etc., then it may make sense to rookie them for next year and keep them under the clubs eye. If its a year of no contact, then it may well be the club has promised to rookie them in 2017 on their return.

Personally, I am happy to have Keefe as a rookie doing nothing in 2016, because I think a Keefe returning in 2017 is a better KPD prospect than what we are likely to get in the PSD.
I dont feel the same way re: Thomas. I think too many midfielders have gone past him, and that will only be worse in another 12 months - I dont really see him being able to play much of a role in 2017 onwards.

Even if the club do rookie them tomorrow, it will likely only be with the last possible picks.
Yeah they've already stated that they will be picked late in the rookie draft. Early picks will go towards players that are actually allowed to play.

With Schaz out with a ACL. Could Adcock come back into Caluations
Why bring in Adcock when we already have Langdon, Maynard, Oxley, Ramsay and probably Golds who can all play the same position?

Seriously, we were all trying to trade away Oxley a few weeks ago because we have a surplus of half back flankers...

Where was it Reported we where trying to Trade Oxley? I only was BG Talk.

Well why did we Draft Phillips and Crocker when we have players already in that positions?

Re-read my post Dave. "We were all trying". As in all of us here on BF. I never said the club was trying to trade him.

I just don't get why everyone here is worried about depth in a position Berg hasn't even established himself as best 22 yet, and we already have plenty of coverage for.

Because they were the best available players at our picks.

We certainly have plenty of options for small and medium backs.

Would we Draft Gold in 1st or 2nd Round?

With Hine picking Wills in the National Draft. I would not Surprise me IF we rookie someone from the VFL Team

Crockers already better then fasolo.
I know this is a running joke in here at the moment but why is there so much Fassy Boy hate? Fassy Boy took some big steps towards fixing his weaknesses this year, I rate him almost as highly as he rates himself.

Agree. I see Crocker overtaking Fasolo and Howe at some point though.

Lazy tackler, Brings pressure for about 1 qtr a game, Only ever comes into form against weak sides and as we know, He thinks he's the greatest player to ever live...

Because to most people a kid who has never played a game is always going to be better than a player who has played 50 odd games but is unlikely to ever be a star. Thats Bigfooty logic for you.

Fas looks the better kick from the little we've seen of Crocker.
