Source?Emma Quayle has suggested you are looking at Milera in the PSD
Would have to think GWS would seriously look at Wilson with one of their first eight rookie picks (is that right?), if we don't take him in the PSD. If GWS didn't take Wilson with one of the first eight rookie picks, they obviously don't rate him. Herald Sun writer says we are committed to taking Houlihan with our PSD pick - http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...-in-rookie-draft/story-e6frf9jf-1225964150319Any chance Wilson will then last to one of our rookie picks?

First pick in the rookie draft is a significantly different matter than the PSD pick, I wouldn't mind Houlihan being picked in the rookie draft. Looking at the last two years, the club has gone with a draft age local player who was overlooked in the ND (McGinnity, Neates) and who they obviously rate. Wilson fits this profile, and they are obviously interested and checking him out by inviting him to train. Would think if he looks okay at training he must be a strong chance for the PSD.I have heard from a few different sources that West Coast have committed to take Houlihan with its first pick in the rookie draft.

I think we will pick Wilson in the PSD and Houlihan in the ND.
We will probably inform Houlihan of our intention to elevate him onto the senior list for the 2012 season along side Ashton Hams. Expect a fair few players to be moved on next season and us to pick up 3-4 picks (depends on where we finish) in the National Draft at the end of 2011.

Herald SUn says the same - though you neve know how prostituted the sources are. Herald Sun could be running it off the back of EQ's tweet.
Also goes a long way to confirm that Coniglio is a lock for Pick 1.
He could slide, a la Darling!(one can dream) although there may be better midfield prospects from the Vic or SA teams pop up at the champs.
We need to start spreading rumours about his dedication and all round personality to help such a slide.
I hear he steals from old ladies handbags
Maybe thats what were weighing up - is GWS or GC interested in Wilson / Milera - if we want both which should we take firstAny chance Wilson will then last to one of our rookie picks?

remember Wilson had OP and might not be right for some time and we desperately need a small Forward.
cheers fsI've read in a couple of places that GWS are pretty interested in Milera, given Choco Williams' link to him and Sheedy's love of speedy small forwards.
I doubt we'll be able to get both Milera and Chillblayne to be honest. We'll have to pick between them.
When does the sponsorship draft start?
I really like the look of Wilson so I would take him in the PSD and Houlihan on the rookie list as another club won't steal him, whereas GWS could take Wilson with their first 8.
Houlihan isn't going to be in our best 22 come rd 1 so if his form in the WAFL is good enough to warrant the half yearly extra upgrade spot then he can take that, chances are there will be a long term injury at some point anyway.
We will be offloading some more dead wood next season so if he warrants an upgrade back to the senior list there will be a spot for him.
I would prefer to pick houli off the rookie list too but the signs lead me to believe he will be the main pick ,GWS will certainly pick wilson they have the 1st8 picks on rookie draft
