Well I'm a bit surprised as I thought we needed a tall defenedr (ie mark Hilton). Good luck to leigh though. From what I've seen of him he 's got excellent skills,is a good mark for his size and loves a goal. Should have a lot of fun in our forward line!

Question.

How are we able to elevate someone from the rookie list after asking 10 lads to take a pay cut to keep us under the salary cap?

Was the elevation of the rookie the reason why we did it? was that incorporated or are we expecting to ask some more of the lads to take a pay cut too?

I do not understand.

We need to make the finals to keep sponsors happy and try and generate some new members..maybe Harding could kick a bag of five gals and win us the game that gets us into the finals...thats why we need to promote him.
With the social club owing rent money , players taking pay cuts, its not a good time for the club, I just hope we dont have to do a Fitzroy and offload some of our good players to keep the club afloat.

All of the players on the long term injury list ie stevens,ainley,and calthorpe are below 180cm tall.We promoted morrell(191)teague(186) and now harding(180).Seems we have increased the overall height of the squad.
