I've got a hard watch on Tommy this preseason.

In a small sample size last year he showed great potential. He was one of the last picks in the 2024 Rookie Draft and being taken so low, everyone had the most modest expectations for him. Imagine if he was a high draft pick who kicked 5 goals in one of his first SANFL games and made some impact in a few AFL games before injury ended season 1.

There's also a spot for him. With Rioli out we need a pressure forward who knows where the goals are. Tom showed all of that in his 2025 cameo. His competitiveness was never in doubt. His burst and clean hands were noted in his draft profile. But he added a real goal sense to his bag of tricks and if Durdin doesn't kick goals, it may not be long before Tommy goes past him.

We simply have to improve our ground ball gets inside 50 and Tommy may be our man.

Couldn't agree more. I think the guy is a gun and it will be a great watch with the two Cochrane brothers running around for us.

Natural goalscorer and showed that he wasn't afraid of the step up to AFL level. And everything out of the club suggests he's very coachable and one of the hardest workers in the building. Let's hope it translates to performance.

I don't think pressure forward was ever Willie's role. Late collisions maybe. So if Tom can show Willie's goal scoring sense while adding pressure in the forward it'd be a big improvement in the forward line.
