Think that's a tad harsh, given that between 2007 and 2010 the side was filled with AA's with the majority of the side in their prime left very little opportunity for youngsters such as Laidler etc getting a look in let alone rookies.
But I agree that Wells has nailed the rookies in the last couple of year.

It was pretty hard for rookies to get into that side when it had players like Max Rooke and Shannon Byrnes in it.

But I agree that Wells has nailed the rookies in the last couple of year.

Mmmmight be a little harsh, Rooke and Shagga were good gets but then there was a bit of a lull before we took Laidler Mumford Pods. Lately though Walker Stringer Burbury Eardley Blicavs and Sheringham have seen his strike rate improve.
