When is denis going to elevate one of the rookies?
We are second last on the ladder, playing the bottom placed
side this week and have two positions on the list available.
No point having a rookie list if you don't use it!

Ryan Jackson and Craig Flint were on sport 927 and said that there are in fact 3 spots available on the list and they will be promoted in the week that they are actually selected in the seniors.

certainly hope they elevate a rookie .. we have nothing to lose , everything to gain ! .. come on dennis hurry up mate really .. what the hell are you waiting for ?

absolute disgrace how either flint or jackson have not been promted after their performances on the weekend in the vfl.

perhaps the target set was greater than what they have achieved.

put it this way if edwards or raso had put in performances like flint and jackson did on saturday then they would be playing this weekend. very ordinary indeed from pagan, especially after he had put the heat on flint and jackson about 2 weeks back.:thumbsd:

and maybe that performance was part 1 of what was required. I trust that Pagan knows how to do this properly.

i disagree. both flint and jackson have been good for at least a month and flint in particular has been good in the bullant's seniors all year.

just out of interest did you see the bullant's game on the weekend because by the sounds of it you didn't.

And it wouldn't have surprised me if pagan wasn't there either.

i didn't see it because it wasn't on ABC. I'm sure Dennis knows everything there is to know about every player at our club. He would be thinking about every aspect of the Carlton Football Club 24 hours a day, he would dream about our team.

Anyway, I accept and understand that you don't trust Dennis, but I'm on the other side of the fence.

What a pox post. So you have nothing to say on this subject beyond mere rectum sniffing ?

Unlike yourself, I actually did say something. All you have done is crapped on a fellow supporter for expressing thier views.

what really annoys me about this whole rookie talk is that we are not getting the full story from the carlton football club about why either flint or jackson or even both have been promoted considering that we have plenty of long term injuries on our list.

in 2004 we were quick to promote both carazzo and bentick and at that stage we were travelling a hell of alot better than what we are now.

if the club can't afford to promote a rookie at this stage then i wish they would be honest and tell us, because as far as form goes one of either of flint or jackson deserves a promtion to our senior list.

It will be flint and smith you thick heads. Forget jackson this year. If smith does not get elevated i promise not to come on here again. He has pretty much been told he will play,by both pagan and mitchell. Has been to several team meetings, and is constantly being given the job on the opposition best midfielder.Just because he doesnt do the individual things you guys drop him like a hot cake. He is all team, orienated because that is what they want him to do. If they let him run free they know he would kill it. The coming weeks will be interesting, i can not wait.I predict round 18.

i can smell the irony through my lap top :D a

Looking at the side this week it would've been impossible to play one of the rookies. Our injury situation in recent weeks has improved dramatically with the return of Kouta, Fisher and Waite. And with McGrath and Bannister playing well (it wouldn't be fair to drop them) the only players you'd drop for these rookies are kids like Kennedy, Blackwell and Bentick. I don't know about all of you but for the moment I'd rather have those three in the side and getting game time.
