Yup, the cover proves that no effort was put into its content.
Conclusively might i add.
I have a fair bit of experience with books (both as a retailer and as a PR person) and I can tell you, very little effort went into the concept of this book and that IS evidenced by the very poor front cover. Hell, even I have better photo's that I've taken of Roo over the years and could put a pretty flashy cover together in 10 minutes on publisher. The saying "you can't judge a book by it's cover" is not always right. Sometimes you can, and this - I believe - is one of those times. This is purely a "let's cash in" title that Roo's agent probably thought was a good idea at the time. And hey, it might make him a truck load of cash, but in the end the fans will be disappointed (except for the 500 that get an autographed copy), and the book, once read, will end up in a garage sale somewhere down the track. A book of real quality would not - it would be a keepsake for all the die-hard Adelaide Crows and Roo fans.
I honestly believe Roo deserves far better than this.
