This is actually what we need more of. Good journo's shining the light on these "vulture" managers. Ever since these parasites got themselves a "gilt edged job in the sun forever" they've been ruining the relationships that clubs and players have always had. Rory isn't on a salary big enough to warrant a dump trade like Bowes. He'll have one year left (not two) on $500k-ish which is average around the league these days especially for a 209cm guy who can play.

Yeah there's no urgency to get Lobb off our books. If teams are interested in him, they'll need to trade something for him. It won't be much, a pick in the late 30s or 40s would probably suffice. Maybe we'd be happy enough to just lose the salary but it's definitely not going to swing the pendulum in the other direction where it'll diminish other outgoing trades because of what a club is burdening their list with.

I agree with this, but ultimately if there are a few buyers which at this early stage there seems to be, someone will have to pay more than another and if nothing is the starting point, it won't be the end point.
