So GWS have reportedly knocked back Freos offer of 11 and 23 for Lobb and 14. By the ever popular points system, it puts it at pick 19!

Not many other options left is there?
1. Pick 11 for Lobb
2. Pick 18 for Lobb
3. Picks 11 & 18 for Lobb and 14 (pick 15)

Option 1 is far to much for Lobb. 2 or 3 gets it done I think!

Let them keep their $750k superstar. I think what has been offered is fair. I’d rather we didn’t make a play for him to be honest and throw the extra picks if needed for Hogan

Didn't you already bail on Hogan?

I think the sticking point maybe is

Freo Want
Lobb + #14 for 11
or
Lobb for #23 or future 2nd

GWS want
#11 for Lobb + #25

I think it will come down to who the Giants want to draft as I think they would want 3 first rounders in this draft to replace the talent out the door and Freo are maybe trying to get enough picks to trade for Hogan and also keep a first round pick for someone they rate highly

Interested to see what contract he will be on I would think 4 years for 2-2.2 with triggers for a 5th year

Jason McCartney: OK that's a deal

Emma: Yep... Lobb + #14 for 11...fair deal

JMc: Hang on ....that's not Al

Emma: It's Peter....Peter Bell in a Clarkson mask

JMc: Pick 5 or GTFO

Maybe GWS want a ruck and none of ours want to go, Lobb was basically their number 1 ruck for most of the year.
He was intended to be, but really only reached the required finltness very late in the season. If we dont trade him he will certainly be next year, if fit of course.
