Going by his presser, he felt some "force on his back" as he was walking down to the team at 3QT. Retaliated (according to a journo who is already running with it, hand on the throat) and then walked off.

Bloke who did it says it was a pat on the back, but of course he would.

Don't think anyone will know for certain what happened but although Lyon would definitely be hyped up during a game, I highly doubt he'd respond aggressively to a simple pat on the back.

Perhaps we should all twitter bomb the journo (lol but I can't think of an appropriate word to describe what he does) and the twat who blatently lied.
There might have been the C word used, we'll never know, but given he clearly wasn't grabbed around the throat I doubt Ross called him a campaigner either.

Off to tweet Peter Lalor and tell him in not so nice words that it's a good idea to fact check before running stories that defame someone.

The only footage I've seen is the camera not aimed at the exchange. Assuming the spectator thought a camera would have picked it up, why would he lie?

Well if you use common sense it is "claimed" that Ross had to be pulled off by security and that he grabbed him round the throat. In the fleeting seconds he's out of frame it's pretty easy to work out there was nowhere near enough time for him to do that. Plus, the spectators sitting next to this flog, don't really react. You'd know if Ross had grabbed him by their facial expressions. He clearly just spits out a few words and carries on.
