ross lyon spectator incident

Something smells a bit fishy here. If that's the incident on the video, then there is simply not enough time for Ross to yell all those alleged profanities at him as well as grab him by the throat. If he's a member he should be banned for life.

I salute your choice of words. But yes, the footage says it all. Could not possibly have occurred as was initially reported and action should be taken against the fan and 'journalist'.

The support lied about the throat choke.

What sort of cork smoker thinks it's a good idea to touch a coach?

Some ****ehead who's paid an airline ticket and paid for good seats somehow thinks that means he's part of the team.

I wish he had punched him.

David soale is the "fans" name. Hope he's not a mate of yours salim?

I believe the fan said ....

Don't give up on us baby
Don't make the wrong seem right
The future isn't just for the night, it's written in the moonlight
And painted on the stars, we can't change us.....

Looking at the footage, it is arguable that Ross is out of frame long enough for a potential quick throat grab (not that I think he actually did it). Like I said, it would have had to have been very quick and I agree with the poster who said that the reaction of nearby spectators does not indicate that anything untoward happened.

There is no clear footage of anything untoward for Channel 7 to repeat over and over, and the guy who has come forward seems like a massive attention seeker. I actually think the media and AFL (ultimately responsible for ensuring safety) will back Ross on this and it will entirely fall off the radar by Monday.

And it was seriously, seriously d*ckhead behaviour to slap a coach on the back at 3 quarter time in a nerve shredding qualifying final. That is not the action of a Freo "supporter". If any true Freo fans personally knows this guy, they should not accept him showing any form of allegiance to the club any longer.

If any true Freo fan personally knows this guy they should show him what a real throat grab looks like!! What an idiot.

i know it won't happen, but i hope ross sues that lalor flog for defamation and libel. lying campaigner.

How did Ross do what he did and still managed to balance his Ipad with an open hand too? There is evidence to suggest how damn hard it would be to do what he allegedly did.

Why supporters think it's a good idea to pat a coach on the back who's in the middle of a battle is beyond me, what a tosser

Players, coaches and officials should at no time be touched by the spectators. Any who break this rule should face fines or membership suspensions .

When the rtb statue is erected on south tce he will be standing proud, right palm facing the street and left foot placed firmly on this blokes throat.
